Residential & Commercial Full Service Design
AsterHouse Design is a full-service interior design firm based in Manhattan, KS working on residential and commercial projects across the Midwest. AsterHouse Design specializes in all aspects of the building process from the beginning planning stages through furnishings.

A full-service design plan can be used for our new construction or remodel clients. With this service, AsterHouse Design will review your blueprints or existing space and provide floor plan modifications or recommendations. We will provide you with a design plan to include all of your finish details (lighting, flooring, fixtures, etc.) and furnishings (furniture, art, etc.). We will meet with your architect and contractor throughout the project to ensure the design is implemented correctly. We will also provide them with documentation for all of your finish selections, which makes their job easier and more efficient. When your construction is finished, we will deliver and install all of your furnishings to setup your home.
Full Service Design Plan
A design consultation is a collaborative session in which AsterHouse designers help you create a solution to a design problem. These sessions often address issues such as a troublesome floor plan, furniture placement, color palettes, finishes, or blending looks. It is an opportunity for you to pick the brain of a designer, take the info, and run with it. During your appointment time, you will work with a designer to brainstorm ideas for your space. You may want feedback on your ideas, or direction to get started. Either is perfectly acceptable and we will be glad to help! This one-time appointment will last a minimum of two hours. We will meet in our office, which is equipped with the samples and materials we’ll need.
Design Consultation
During your furniture consultation, we will show you what furniture works in your room(s) and where to place it. AsterHouse Design will review photographs and measurements of your space. We will discuss your needs and taste so that we can recommend products that fit within your lifestyle. You will receive a layout for the room, recommendations for furniture pieces that will work within your space, and product selections including pricing.
Furnishings Consultation
Our stylist will make an in-home visit to style and add accessories that complete the look of your space.
In-Home Styling fee is $85/hour (plus cost of accessories)
In Home Styling
Are you looking for a specific furniture piece, or just need some help selecting decor items? During your in store styling consultation, we will work with you to find furniture and decor items that work for your space. Our stylist will review photographs and measurements of your space. We will discuss your needs and taste so that we can recommend products that fit within your lifestyle

AsterHouse Design's retail store, furnish, is open for shopping in downtown Manhattan, KS at 314 Poyntz Ave.
Store Hours:
Monday-Friday 10 am – 6 pm
Saturday 10 am – 5 pm
Our products include:
rugs, furniture, accessories, wallpaper, lamps, pillows, linens, blankets, art. Custom furniture orders are welcome when you stop by. If you need help from a designer, you can make an in-store styling appointment.
